This is one of a nest of just 7 Cornish holiday cottages were converted from 19th century farm buildings in a wonderful rural position with stunning views over the countryside to the Atlantic. Just a few miles from some of the beautiful beaches North Cornwall has to offer Mill is ideally situated for a relaxing seaside break, surfing holiday and coastal walks. This self-catering country cottage provide a great base for exploring eastwards into North Devon including Clovelly and Hartland Abbey. Expand your visit further into Cornwall visiting historic St Ives and Tintagel. Padstow might provide the gastronomique experience. The Eden Project lies to south. The longest zipwire in England crosses the old quarry there and the North Devon Wake park and coasteering provide a more thrilling experiences amongst others.
Barn and Mill
A shared drive welcomes you to Ivyleaf Barton, finding Mill on the far side, with family owned houses ( also holiday lets) on either side. The cottage has a comfortable downstairs living area leading through to enclosed garden to the rear. Patio furniture with makes it a beautiful situation in which to relax and enjoy "al fresco" living.
Relaxed and simple shared grounds also give access to the shared tennis court. Neighbouring this lovely site is a nine hole golf course where membership is not required.
Do remember your tennis raquet. Current cautions around corona virus mean that we can no longer offer rackets and balls.
Open plan downstairs. Electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge freezer and washing machine are in the kitchen. (A coin operated tumble dryer is also available for use in the communal laundry room off the main courtyard***not currently in use due to covid***.) Electric heaters throughout the cottage can keep you cosy in the winter (but they may get very hot and caution with small children around is recommended. ) |
